Review: DAVIDsTEA Organic Breakfast tea is decidedly multicultural, a blend of Yunnan, Ceylon and Darjeeling. One thing that pleased me greatly about this rich, flavorful tea is that the Yunnan definitely shines, offering a lovely sweetness with hints of chocolate. The Darjeeling supports the sweetness and the Ceylon provides character and body. The tea is lightly astringent at the finish, making it great with food.
Definitely recommended.
Brewing Tips: This tea is pretty forgiving so don’t sweat a bit of an over-steep. Five minutes at just under boiling did the trick for me.
Serving Tips: By all means drink this tea with breakfast, but it’s really just a good all-around black tea blend. Drink it anytime that you crave a good, straightforward black tea.
