Review: While I am normally very fond of Two Leaves and a Bud’s offerings, Organic English Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. While there are no obvious flaws or off flavors, the tea is, dare I say it, rather boring. Mind you, it is both malty and  food-friendly, as are most Assams, and is mellow enough to not need any milk and sugar. But beyond these good things, I’ve not detected anything unique about the tea.

Incidentally, I do like the packaging very much: The “gift cylinder”  is made of sturdy cardboard and is a handsome container indeed. (The tea itself is packaged in a foil pouch.) Still,  I’m going to recommend giving Organic English Breakfast a pass.
