Review: Argh. I love cinnamon, and I love cinnamon in tea. Sadly, I did not love this cinnamon tea from Adagio.
The dry leaf smells great: Other reviewers note that it reminds them of red hot candies (aka cinnamon imperials), and I agree. Unfortunately, the tea itself has an unfortunate bitterness and odd aftertaste that I just can’t get past. I wish I could say more about the tea, but it struck me as one-dimensional: There is cinnamon, and there is black tea, and someone decided to mix them together.
I just wish they had done a better job.
