Slightly off-topic post here, but I wanted to introduce my readers who are bloggers themselves to a wonderful, FREE tool for generating traffic.
I have been using Entrecard, an advertising exchange service, since last year. It has helped me to boost my traffic and has brought me several loyal readers as well. The service is free and simple to use. Here is how it works:
1. Entrecard is a blog-only service: You will be exchanging advertising only with other blog owners.
2. Alfter registering, place the Entrecard widget on your blog (you can see my Entrecard widget in the first sidebar to the right, under the headline “Welcome Entrecard Droppers!”).
3. The widget also includes an ad for another blog. When someone advertises in this space on your blog, you are paid in Entrecard credits.
4. When you visit other Entrecard blogs, you click on the widget. This earns you an Entrecard credit as well.
5. Entrecard credits can be used to purchase advertising on other blogs, as well as products and services in the Entrecard marketplace.
