I am pleased to report that UCLA’s Fowler Museum is hosting an exhibit devoted entirely to tea: Steeped in History: The Art of Tea, from August 16th, 2009 – November 29th, 2009. The exhibit will feature paintings, teawares, photographs and ceramics from around the world. . .and yes, tea will be served!
The guest currator for this wonderful show is Beatrice Hohenegger, author of Liquid Jade: The Story of Tea from East to West. (Ms. Hohenegger will be my guest on the July 27th Lainie Sips podcast, at 4pm Central Time.)
