Greetings!
Boy have I been busy: Between my work for this blog, Examiner.com, and The Taste of English Tea Blog, as well as some private consulting, I have barely been able to keep up!
There are a few things that I would like to call your attention to:
1. If you are in the Chicago/Evanston area, keep in mind that Rishi Tea is going to be offering a free sampling of their teas at the Evanston (Chicago Avenue/South) Whole Foods on Friday, April 17th from 3pm-7pm.
2. Steepster is a new social networking service for tea-drinkers. Users can enter teas into the system and record when they are drinking them, along with their opinions of the teas. The service is in beta right now, but I’m enjoying building my tealog. Join me!
3. Speaking of social networking reviews, I, and several other tea-lovers are now on Likaholix. Come join us and share your favorites!
4. I am pleased to report that Teatulia has been named the “Best Tea in Denver” by Denver Westword. Unfamiliar with Teatulia? Read my review of their green tea.
5. Teavana is offering free shipping on any single order through April 25th, 2009. Use coupon code: MOMSGIFT to get your free shipping! Check out my reviews of Teavana’s products.
6. Chicago-based tea company ineeka has won a “Best of Show” award at the Natural Products Expo for their Himalayan Green Tea Bierâ„¢. I reviewed ineeka’s Himalayan Black Intensity a few months ago.
