Name: Organic Harmony

Brand: Cha Cha Tea
Type: Herbal Tisane
Form: Loose Leaf
Review: I am not hugely fond of most herbal tisanes: They often taste weak, uninspired, and like “health food”. They are often made of inferior grade herbs, and lack the mouth filling qualities of either rooibos or true tea.
Organic Harmony, offered by Maleah Moscoff‘s Cha Cha Tea, is an exception to dreary tisanes. This blend of lemongrass, mint, licorice root, black peppercorns, ginger and cardamom is not only warm but also refreshing. While there is slight domination of the blend by the lemongrass (and this is not a bad thing), it is balanced by the warmth of the other spices (particularly the ginger). The black peppercorns contribute to a lingering, and interesting, finish.
This tisane is a testament to skillful blending: Ginger, lemongrass and mint can dominate, yet neither the mint nor the ginger are particularly obvious, and the dominant lemongrass is still controlled. The warmth and spice of this blend are comforting, but are neatly balanced by the citrus notes. This is a four-season tisane.
Recommendation: A simply delicious tisane that is great for those who need to avoid caffeine entirely, but also for those who just want to enjoy a lovely hot beverage.
