The lovely ladies at Authora+ea and TeaEscapade have made an exciting announcement: They are starting a tea swap!
The swap works like this: Every two weeks participants mail two samples of either loose leaf or silken-pouch teas to their assigned partner (everyone has one partner). Participants will get a new swapping partner every month.
I am encouraging ALL my readers to participate in this co-op. . .whether you are a:
Tea Newbie who has had little opportunity to try out various teas: This is a great opportunity to expand your horizons!
Regular Tea Drinker who wants to try out different teas, some of which may be hard to find in your area.
Serious Tea Drinker who needs new teas to expand and refine your palate.
Tea or Food Blogger/Writer who is looking for new teas to review.
Plus, in these tough economic times, swapping tea makes sense for those who want to enjoy a variety of teas, but are on a limited budget. Many tea retailers have a set minimum quantity for the sale of tea: Here is an opportunity to swap some of that tea out for something different!
