Tea Name: Revolution Tropical Green Tea
Brand: (R)evolution
Type: Flavored Green Tea
Form: Whole leaf in silken bag
Source: I got mine at a hotel in Washington DC. Available at both brick and mortar and online outlets.
Cost: A box of 16 bags can run as low as $5.99.
Review: The tea, which comes in one of those silken infuser bags, has a light, pretty fragrance. I am not sure that I would call it tropical (though the tea does include pineapple) but it is indeed appealing. This tea brews up to a pretty yellow-green in the cup with a subtle, almost floral scent.
The tea itself is tasty: There are no bitter nor grassy notes. Nor is the “tropical” flavor particularly strong. I don’t find this tea to be remarkable, but it is also non-interfering and would probably go well with some foods, particularly Indian.
Recommendation: A pleasant green tea with a hint of “tropical” flavor. If someone is trying to “get to like” green tea, this wouldn’t be a bad tea to start with. Not for serious green tea drinkers or those who prefer a more highly flavored tea.

I love revolution tea. I’ve been drinking it for 8 years. I always like the little not that they had at the end of the string. There is another tea company that I enjoy and it is called Stash Tea.
Interesting! I get your posts by email and always enjoy them. My brother really loves tea, so I am making a Christmas shopping list based on your reviews!

Stash does some great tea. I love their green/white blend. Thanks for visiting!
JohnP…why not get your brother some performance teas for Christmas?
