Bigelow Earl Grey (A Review)

by Lainie P on September 24, 2008

Tea Name: Bigelow Earl Grey

Brand: Bigelow

Type: Earl Grey is a black tea flavored with bergamot

Form: Paper tea bags, individually wrapped

Source: Supermarket

Cost: About $3 for a 20 count box. Lower prices are available in bulk (check out the Amazon.com link above).

Review: My birthmother recently introduced me to Bigelow Earl Grey and I am very glad that she did. This tea is not overly tart (as some Earl Greys can be) and possesess a creamy quality. The tea turns a nice dark amber in the cup, and is very smooth with no bitter edges. This is a great after-dinner tea: I’ve had it with chocolate covered cookies, which was a surprisingly good match.

Recommendation: If you are looking for a softy, tasty Earl Grey at a bargain price, get this tea. You won’t be disappointed.
